The exception is a right-of-way permit, which the Town’s own checklist says “must be submitted electronically via email to BUILDING@TOWNOFMEDLEY.COM”.

More than one way

Two sets of plans, per the Town’s notice to applicants. A right-of-way package goes by e-mail to the Building Department; a TCO/TCC package is delivered as a physical binder — the Town’s wording is “You must submit the required documents in a binder to the Building Dept”, divided with sheet protectors.

Records are searched and inspections requested on BS&A Online; the Town adds that if the system is down the inspection request may be e-mailed to building@townofmedley.com or phoned in, 24 hours in advance. Inspections run by trade on fixed days — building Tuesday to Thursday, roofing Tuesday and Thursday, electrical Tuesday and Wednesday, plumbing and mechanical Tuesday and Thursday — and a zoning final is requested by e-mail.
