City of Miami Springs’s fee schedule: City of Miami Springs — Building Processing Department Fee Schedule, effective The cover page is dated Revised 10/17/2024 and later page footers are dated Revised 07/01/2026 (The City’s own published fee schedule, referring to City Code s. 151.04(H) for general maintenance and repairs and to Chapter 8 s. 8-12 for how minimum valuation is established with the Miami-Dade Office of Code Compliance).
Fees are worked out from: Square footage, in bands for new construction and per square foot above them; Estimated valuation, for the upfront processing fee; Per item, for awnings, windows, shutters, doors and gates; Linear feet, for fences.
Minimums: A minimum fee per category, recorded as amounts below; A non-refundable upfront processing fee credited towards the final permit fee.
Charged on top: A structural processing fee where the structural plans processor must review, charged again for each subsequent review; Survey recertification, where the survey has expired.
- Structural processing fee, residential — non-refundable, added to the upfront fee, charged again per subsequent review: $100 (City of Miami Springs — Fee Schedule)
