In personThe Village publishes its own clock: a regular permit takes 3 to 5 business days; a larger residential project about 30 working days and a commercial one about 50, and the Village notes those figures are for INITIAL PLANS REVIEW ONLY — “Should the process require more time, the applicant will be advised.” Inspections are requested by telephone with the permit number, called the day before, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. A permit stays valid as long as an approved inspection is obtained within 180 days of issuance and every 180 days after.
